An Awareness seminar of Iyarkayai Nesi Public Charitable Trust on " Forest Resources and Wildlife Protection" Iyarkayai Nesi Public Charitable Trust conducted an Interaction Seminar at Pollachi Sri Saraswati Thiyagaraja College on the topic 'Forest Resources and Wildlife Protection ' for the NSS Students 18.11.2022. In this seminar it has been discussed about the Forest, Wildlife and Natural agriculture. Mr J. Peter Prem Chakravarthi, Biologist, Anamalai Tiger Reserve briefed on Forest nature, Wildlife and its importance, etc. through presentation with special emphasis on ATR. Iyarkayai Nesi Management Trustee Mr M. Vetrivel detailed the harassment of the people over the wild animals and he requested not to take selfie near them and he briefed over the nature of elephants. Chief Coordinator of the Trust Lion M. Kamalakkannan, in his address briefed about the nature of the Tigers and how it is a Gentleman and our duty to save the tigers. He insisted not to litter inside the forests and the danger of plastic waste and broken bottles to the wildlife. Tree saplings were planted inside the college premises. Rtn Dr Joy Sekar, IRS Chairman, Sri Subramania College of Engineering and Technology, Palani, Sri Saraswati Thiyagaraja College Principal Dr Somasundaram, NSS Coordinator Mr Sekar and NSS students participated in the programme.
