On 13 March 2026, representatives of IYARKAYAI NESI PUBLIC CHARITABLE TRUST paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Venkatesh, I.F.S., Field Director, Anamalai Tiger Reserve.

During the meeting, the Trust presented a bird water bowl as part of its summer conservation campaign, “Let’s Keep Water for Birds.” The initiative aims to encourage the placement of water bowls at suitable locations across urban and residential areas to provide safe drinking water for birds during the hot summer months.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to share the Trust’s objectives and conservation efforts, particularly those focused on bird protection, biodiversity conservation and community participation in environmental initiatives.

The Trust expressed its commitment to continuing such awareness and conservation activities to promote greater public involvement in protecting birds and urban wildlife.
