The District Forest Officer Mr. N Jayaraj who received it gave it to the forest guards and forest committee members. Conservator of Forests and Field Director Mr. S. Ramasubramaniam said, "Because the birds and the flocks are suffering without water due to the summer heat, they are very happy that the NGO Nesi Public Welfare Foundation has created a "water grain tank" for the birds. Congratulations to them. He said that the foresters and the forest team should get this and create awareness among the people. We cannot live without water. So, just as we protect ourselves and our children, let us also protect the tiny birds that live around us. A "water grain tank" was created and placed all over Pollachi city for the birds. Now, thank you for presiding over the "Water Grain Theki" program today based on our request to the Forest Conservator and Field Director of Anaimalai Tiger Reserve. Residents in the suburbs are requested to keep small bowls of water for birds in their homes.
