Request for Cottage Industries and Livelihood Opportunities for Tribal Women
On 20.12.2023, representatives of IYARKAYAI NESI PUBLIC CHARITABLE TRUST paid a courtesy visit to Ms. A. Catherine Saranya, I.A.S., who had assumed charge as the Sub-Collector of Pollachi.
During the meeting, the Trust submitted a request to create suitable cottage industries and livelihood opportunities for tribal women, with the objective of improving their livelihood and economic well-being.
The Sub-Collector assured the representatives that the request would be considered and that appropriate action would be taken at the earliest.
The meeting was attended by Mr. M. Vetrivel, Administrative Trustee of the Trust; Mr. Muruganandam and Mrs. Kavitha, Trustees; and Mr. Kamalakkanan, Chief Traffic Warden.
