21.03.2024 – “Let Us Quench the Thirst of Birds” Initiative
On the occasion of World Forest Day, 21.03.2024, IYARKAYAI NESI PUBLIC CHARITABLE TRUST organized a programme under the initiative “Let Us Quench the Thirst of Birds” to provide water containers for birds.
The programme was held at the Coimbatore Forest Conservation Office of the Anaimalai Tiger Reserve.
Mr. S. Ramasubramaniam, I.F.S., Conservator of Forests and Field Director, inaugurated the programme and distributed water containers to tribal community members and forest department personnel for placing drinking water for birds.
The programme was attended by District Forest Officer Mr. Jeyaraj; Mr. M.Vetrivel, Administrative Trustee of the Trust; Trustees Mrs. Kavitha and Mr. Muruganandam; Mrs. S. Valarmathi, Tribal Coordinator; and Mr. Kamalakkanan, Chief Traffic Warden.
