Seminar on Forests & Wildlife Conservation

10 April 2025 | Saraswathi Thyagaraja College, Pollachi

On 10 April 2025, Mr. M. Vetrivel, Managing Trustee of Iyarkayai Nesi Public Charitable Trust, participated in a Forest and Wildlife Conservation Awareness Seminar held at Saraswathi Thyagaraja College, Pollachi.

The seminar was organized to create awareness among students about the importance of protecting forests, conserving wildlife, safeguarding biodiversity, and promoting responsible environmental practices.

As part of the programme, a practical demonstration on tree plantation was also conducted. Students were guided on the proper method of preparing planting pits, planting saplings, and caring for young trees to ensure healthy growth and long-term survival.

The session encouraged students to develop a deeper understanding of environmental conservation and inspired them to actively contribute towards forest protection, wildlife conservation, tree planting, and a sustainable future.

Office bearers of Iyarkayai Nesi Public Charitable Trust also participated in the programme and extended their support towards promoting environmental and wildlife awareness among the younger generation.
